Terms of use

Last updated 18 September 2026.

Draft for review. These terms are awaiting sign-off by The Ashley Lashley Foundation’s legal adviser. Sections marked “to be confirmed” will be completed before the site launches.

These terms cover use of this website. They are not the terms of any engagement, which are set out in a separate contract.

Using this site

You may read, print and share this site’s pages for your own use. Our name, logo, wordmark and published reports stay our property, and the logo files are not licensed for reuse.

Our research and reports

Published findings may be quoted with attribution to The Shyft Collective and the year of publication. Any dataset we publish carries its own licence and method note.

Accuracy

We publish the method and the sample with every number. Findings describe the people and the period we studied, and should not be read as advice for a specific decision without talking to us.

Liability

Liability, governing law and jurisdiction: to be confirmed.

Changes

We update these terms when the site changes, and the date at the top of this page shows when that last happened.
